I am Neyireth Charry Cortés, a small coffee producer from Planadas, Tolima, specifically from Finca La Palma in the hamlet of El JardÃn, situated at an altitude of 2,050 meters. At 38 years old, I am a proud mother of two: WÃlmar Eduardo and Karen Julieth.
This is my first participation with a semi-washed Geisha coffee, which we obtained in 2014 from Boquete, Panama. Thanks to my husband, Duverney Cifuentes, our coffee has been a finalist in various competitions 12 times. Notably, we secured first place for Smoothness in the seventh edition of Colombia Tierra de Diversidad, and we’ve placed in the top ten in three additional editions. Most recently, we achieved first place in the Taza de la Excelencia 2023 and also topped the International Expotolima Corazón Cafetero de Colombia.
With each competition, I am driven by a passion for excellence and a commitment to showcasing the unique flavors of our coffee. Our journey is not just about awards; it's about building a legacy for my children and contributing to the rich coffee culture of our region.
