For 50 years, I have worked alongside my husband on our farm, Guayacanes. Together, we cultivate coffee while also managing the administrative and commercial aspects of our business with the help of our children, Lina and Hernán Posada Vélez.
We are also deeply committed to social initiatives, such as the "Hogar Infantil Niños del Café," where we care for 40 children aged 1 to 5, providing them with essential education and support.
Our plans include improving the processing and drying areas of our farm, with a particular focus on the milling, sorting, and packaging of green coffee. These enhancements will allow us to implement quality control for the specialty coffees we send to our customers.
Through our efforts, we aim to not only elevate the quality of our coffee but also to make a positive impact in our community, ensuring a brighter future for both our family and the children we serve.
