| Cupping Notes: | I am Wilmar Eduardo Cifuentes Charry, a fourth-generation coffee producer, and I have found my passion and purpose in coffee cultivation. At 19 years old, I am participating for the first time in the Colombia Tierra de Diversidad competition, inspired by my father, Duverney Cifuentes Fajardo. From an early age, I have witnessed my family's work and dedication in the production of specialty coffees, learning alongside my mentor through trial and error, which has led to continuous improvements in product quality. My father, who has been a finalist 13 times in renowned competitions such as Colombia Tierra de Diversidad, the current champion of Taza de la Excelencia, and the winner of the first edition of the Tolima Corazón Cafetero fair, has been a source of inspiration and knowledge for me. Motivated by the desire to continue the family coffee tradition, I have developed my own vision for the production of specialty coffees, focusing on maintaining quality and sustainability at every stage of the process. |
