The farm started as a project of the family business in response to the need to produce a specialty coffee that meets the quality standards required by our clients. This opportunity arose thanks to the business relationship we maintained with Mr. Orlando Sanchez, the former owner of the El Porvenir farm, who placed second in the Cup of Excellence in 2020 and won a Presidential Award in 2019. In 2022, the farm was acquired with the intention of continuing Mr. Orlando's work. Currently, the farm is managed by a foreman, who resides there with his wife and children. The tasks are carried out alongside a team of local workers, who receive precise instructions for managing fertilization, pruning, harvesting, sorting, processing, and drying.
