MONTES for the family surname, and EMBRUJO (enchantment) because the idea is to tell all the stories that my grandfather experienced on the farm. A finely cultivated and harvested coffee, grain by grain, on the foothills of Santa Rosa de Cabal at 1650 meters above sea level. A third-generation coffee, produced on volcanic ash soils from the eruptions of the Nevado del Ruiz, irrigated by thermal waters that give it the best natural attributes and aromas. The coffee plants are embraced at night by winds coming from the mountain chain of the Central Andes, in coffee plantations guarded by the Paramillos of Santa Rosa de Cabal, which provide the best fragrances, aromas, and natural attributes to this exotic coffee. When tasted, it makes the spirit and imagination soar in our colorful land. Café Embrujo de los Montes is a model of circular economy for the common good, where the biomass from coffee farming is utilized and turned into other products, revaluing the byproducts that we have discarded for decades.
