Lilia Aurora Ríos' journey in coffee cultivation is a story of courage, change, and determination. Her life took a turn when she met her husband while working in illicit poppy fields. However, with the arrival of their first child, they both made a crucial decision: to leave that past behind and build a dignified future. Inspired by her husband's coffee-growing tradition, who always proudly remembers that his 'first bottle was of coffee,' they found in coffee the opportunity to transform their lives. With effort and dedication, they started from scratch, learning every detail of the cultivation process with the unwavering belief that their work would bear fruit. What began as a means of livelihood turned into a true passion, an art that today reflects their love and commitment to each bean. Today, Lilia Aurora Ríos not only grows coffee, but also cultivates hope and a legacy for future generations. Each cup of her coffee is a testament to effort, resilience, and the ability to transform life through love for the land.
